The OPUS HE 19” 5U Rack Power Systems are robust, convection-cooled, N+1 redundant backup power solutions designed for critical infrastructure applications, including transmission and distribution substations, process industries, railway signaling, and telecommunications.
- Scalable & High-Efficiency Power Output - The 19” 5U rack delivers a maximum output power of 6 kW at 48V, 60V, 110V, 125V, and 220V DC, and 4.5 kW at 24V DC. A master-slave setup can be used to scale power beyond 6 kW, reaching up to 16 kW with two interconnected 5U racks.
- Simple Building Block for Local Integration - Designed for flexibility, the 5U rack can be delivered as a pre-assembled kit for local system-building partners, reducing design and manufacturing costs. It includes slots for up to 3 rectifier modules, battery breakers, a shunt for one string, and a bulk DC load output, making it an ideal solution for cabinet integration.
- Advanced Monitoring & Communication - Equipped with the VIDI2 controller, the system supports 12 configurable relay alarms and offers both local and remote monitoring via Ethernet TCP/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, SCADA IEC61850, SNMP, and RS-232 interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Flexible Design & Optional Features - The rack features full front cabling for easy installation and maintenance. Optional accessories include wall mounting, an IP21 cover kit, a BLVD contactor, a temperature sensor, and battery block voltage monitoring, allowing customization to meet specific application requirements.
