PU Series

The PU range of rack-mounted DC/DC converters from Polyamp delivers high performance and flexibility, with power capacities from 300W to 1kW per unit and scalability for larger systems through parallel operation of up to 10 units. Featuring advanced load sharing and redundancy, the range ensures balanced loads and reliability with built-in series diodes for output redundancy. These converters prioritize safety and protection, offering reverse input voltage protection, overvoltage protection, surge protection compliant with EN IEC 61000-4-5 level 4, and over/under voltage alarms with relay outputs. Designed for durability and efficiency, the units are fully encapsulated with IP20 protection, conformally coated for high humidity tolerance, and highly efficient (>88%), operating in a wide temperature range of -25°C to +55°C, with extended options up to -40°C and +70°C. User-centric features like front panel controls, status LEDs, and flexible mounting options—including 19" racks, brackets, heat sinks, and military-grade connectors—make the PU range ideal for demanding industrial and military applications.
