DIN Rail Power Supplies

Two of our most popular ranges for gate control are the Mean Well HDR series and our lowest cost DIN Rail Option, the LP Series from Reign Power. Both offer excellent value in a small form factor, with the LP Series being physically small on it’s DIN Rail width and with a voltage display for easy checks. The HDR, which uses the familiar MCB form factor can also add uniformity to an installation, whilst still offering simple installation.

Adapter Power Supplies by Mean Well and Sunny, available in the UK

In-Line and Adapter Power Supplies

Whether you call them adapters, wall mounts or desktops, we offer power supplies that are enclosed, and take a mains input from an IEC or 3 pin input to a DC output provided by a jack. We are fortunate to have a number of suppliers for our adapter power supplies, which means we can offer:

  • 12Vdc and 24Vdc options standardised in stock or on short lead times.

  • Modified custom units, with different input and output connections and options available.

Battery Back-Up for Critical Systems


Security systems and access are important to your customer, which is why it’s important to us. We offer solutions that can provide a battery backup as either a DC or AC output. Whatever the problem, we have a solution to offer.

DC UPS Battery Backup for Gate Automation by Effekta

DC UPS

For 12Vdc, 24Vdc and 48Vdc applications, the DCH range offers a small and simple option to add redundancy in to your systems. With a 230Vac input the DCH has outputs for batteries and DC load, so simply add your batteries and connect to your load and the DCH will charge your batteries and supply your load.

In a mains fail situation, the DCH will automatically switch to battery power and supply your output load. To preserve the lifespan of your batteries, the DCH will cut off supply to the load prior to deep discharge. For integrators using DIN Rail, the DCH can be mounted on DIN Rail along with CP Power’s DIN Rail Battery Holder. AC UPS

For applications that require multiple voltages, or where redundancy needs to be retrofitted, an AC UPS can be the solution. We have many different sizes and technologies we can offer, and multiple options for expanded autonomy time. if you are looking to add redundancy in to your already existing systems, please contact us with your load size and autonomy requirement and we can suggest options for you.
